Programming And Syncing The 10 Digit Keypad to an RVLock Keyless Handle
Programming A New Code Into Your RVLock 10 Digit Keypad
*(DO NOT press the learn button on the handle for this process)
Note: The beeps can be a hard tone for some people to hear. If you do not hear the beeps, continue with the instructions as it likely is programming.
1. Press and hold down the "0" button.
2. Keep the "0" held down and press and hold the "Lock" button. Release both
(You will hear a long beep signifying you have entered programming mode)
3. Type in the existing code(1234 is the default code), then press lock.
4. Type in the new code(up to 8 digits), then press lock.
5. Type in the new code again and press lock.(You will hear a long beep confirming programming is complete)
6. Confirm that your new code works by entering the code and pressing lock/unlock. The keypad will accept the code with a long beep.(If you get five quick beeps repeat programming steps)
Syncing the 10 digit keypad to your RVLock
1. On the interior side of the lock, turn the switch to the ON position(If this gets turned off the 10 digit keypad and remote fobs will no longer work)
2. Press and release the FOB LEARN button with a pen or paper clip. A beep will confirm that you have entered programming mode.
3. Enter your code on the 10 digit keypad and press lock. Continue this until you hear the long beep.
4. Confirm that your 10 digit keypad has synced with your RVLock by entering your code and pressing lock/unlock.
5. Peel the double side stick tape off the back of the keypad and press firmly on a clean surface. The keypad will function best when in close proximity of the RVLock handle.
Important Notes
- Keypad with reset to former operations after 10 seconds of being idle during programming mode. If you make a mistake simply wait 10 seconds and start over.
-Long beep = Confirmation
-5 short beeps = Error/Wrong code
- You must ALWAYS have the correct code to change to a new one. There is no reset or or override button.
-You must ALWAYS keep a spare key outside of your rig in case of electronic/battery failure.
- The CR2032 battery can be accessed by removing the two screws at the bottom of the keypad.
- The battery will need replaced every 5-6 months depending on use. Remove the battery from the keypad at the end of each season and/or between large
