Programming and Syncing 10-Button Keypad to the V3 Handle

Programming:

  • Press the "0" button and the "LOCK" button on the keypad.

  • Put in the old code (or default code 1,2,3,4) and then press "lock".

  • Put in the new code and then press "lock".

  • Put in the new code again and then press "lock".

Programming tips:

  • The keypad will only stay in programming mode for about 10 seconds total.  You will need to get through the whole programming process within 10 seconds. To stay in the 10 seconds, we recommend using a 4-digit code.

  • It is important to press the "0" first and then add in the "lock" to accurately get the keypad into programming mode. 

  • The sound on the keypad is very quiet, so keep moving with the programming whether you hear the sound or not. 

Syncing the keypad to your RVLock:

  • Make a quick firm press on the "FOB Learn" button on the back of your handle. (On the V3, this may be slightly behind the back paddle.)

  • Enter your code on the 10-button keypad and press "LOCK".

  • Enter your code again on the 10-button keypad and press "LOCK".

Syncing tips:

  • Like programming, you will need to get through the whole syncing process within 10 seconds.

  • You can clear off all memory from your RVLock handle, by holding down the "FOB Learn" button for 10-15 seconds. 

If you are still having issues syncing your 10-button Keypad try changing the keypad code to "lock":

  • Hold down the "0" and then the "LOCK" to get your keypad in programming mode.

  • Put in your old code and then press "LOCK".

  • Then in place of a new code, press "LOCK" and then press "LOCK" again.

  • Finally, press the "LOCK" button 2 more times. 

Then try syncing your keypad with the new "lock" code:

  • Make a quick firm press on the "FOB Learn" button on the back of your handle.

  • Press "LOCK" on your handle 4 times.

After correctly syncing your handle, change your 10-Button Keypad code to a code of your choosing:

  • Press the "0" button and add in the "LOCK" button.

  • In place of the old code, press "LOCK" 2 times.

  • Then put in your new code, and press the "LOCK" button.

  • Then again, put in your new code and press the "LOCK" button.
