US RVLock Limited Lifetime Warranty
RVLock products have a lifetime* warranty. We stand behind the craftsmanship and quality of all our products. Our warranty is valid only when an eligible RVLock product is purchased through RVLock.com or through an authorized dealer and is current property of the original owner.
We also embrace the wild, twisty roads of life. If a product defect can be solved with a replacement part, RVLock will provide a new replacement component that can be self-installed. RVLock products are designed with the customer in mind, making repairs simple. In the case that a replacement part fails to repair your handle, RVLock reserves the right to replace with a similar functioning item, at our discretion. Replacement units may be from our certified refurbished stock. Damages not covered are those resulting from abuse, normal wear and tear, accidental damage, and cosmetic damages that do not affect the functionality of the lock (such as scratches or faded colors). Any damage to, loss of use, loss of time, loss of property, or similar expenses are not covered.
Note that the customer is responsible for shipping and handling costs. RVLock will cover any part replacement costs. All warranty claims are subject to our warranty review department.
What is not covered by warranty?
Damages not covered are those resulting from abuse, normal wear and tear, cosmetic issues that do not affect the functionality of the handle, and accidental damage. Warranty claims are only valid for original owners and proof of purchase must be presented. Warranty does not cover damage caused by improper maintenance or installation. Warranty does not cover any discontinued RVLock items.
Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use. Regardless of how carefully you use, or how well you care for your handle, it will eventually begin to show age and wear. Usual wear and tear not covered by the lifetime warranty includes changes in color, abrasions, and general breakdown of materials over time. An example of common wear and tear include color fading from sun exposure. Some examples of accidental damage are water damage caused by power washing, rock chips, as well as damage caused by attempted break-in.
Liability:
RVLock is not liable for damage to doors, trailers, electrical, or anything in your surrounding environment as a result of using our products. Proof of purchase necessary.
*Please note that some limitations apply. Cosmetic damage and excessive wear and tear is not covered. Determination of what is excessive wear and tear is subject to the sole discretion of the RVLock warranty team.
