Why is my Keypad sticky?

If you ever notice your keypad numbers becoming sticky, or see a white film covering the numbers, there is a super easy fix! 

What causes that sticky keypad is a film that's put on the keypad during manufacturing! The film is placed there to protect the keypad from different processes the handle goes through! Typically that film is removed in assembly, but we did have some that it wasn't fully removed.

The film can easily be removed with pure Acetone and a rag. This will not damage anything else on the handle, and will simply remove the excessive layer.
