The Deadbolt Won't Extend With The Door Closed But Will With The Door Open

If the deadbolt will not actuate with the door closed but it does actuate with the door open, this is a sign that he RVLock is functioning properly but you need to adjust the alignment. On the frame of the door, loosen the two screws that hold the door jamb plate on. Once they are loose, adjust the door jamb plate until the dead bolt is able to extend with the door open. It may take a few tries to get it to where the door jamb plate and the dead bolt are aligned properly.
